September 20, 2008

there will be a work crew gathering at the

Yellow Feather Cultural Center.

We will be building a drum arbor for the circle, burning wood and debris from around the grounds, along with installing a door in the kitchen shed area.

There will be camping from Friday September 19th to Sunday September 21st. Included will be a sweat lodge, feast and talking circle.

There will be a pipe ceremony Sunday morning prior to the Meeting.

The gathering on August 16th & 17th was a huge success with the rattle making class, talking circle, sweat and feast.

We are the Métis Eastern Tribal Indian Society of Maine.

Métis are mixed blood people with aboriginal (First Nations) ancestry.
